Building on our past ………..

In 1903 Edwin Pitcher started a Building Company in Dorset.  He founded the  business on simple values;
good quality work at fair and honest prices.  More than 100 years on, the business still holds true to these values.  Edwin passed the business to his son, Cyril George Pitcher.  In the early 1960’s he was joined by his son Graham, and the name C G Pitcher & Son was born.  In 2006, Graham’s son, Mark, became the fourth
generation to join the business, continuing in the family tradition and upholding the values of his great grandfather.  C G Pitcher & Son Ltd are still based in Dorset undertaking all forms of construction from day- to-day maintenance to major construction projects.

45 Years in the business.

In 2008 Graham Pitcher celebrated 45 years working in the family business, an achievement that has been marked with the fixing of a stone at the Durweston school site, a £1.3 Million extension where he worked as Project Manager.
